The best 4x4xfar!

Apologies for the non-MGness of this post, but I have to share the pics as I think they're just about the best ever taken of the Defender

Comments welcome as always 8-)

Great photos, from todays TV news I take it you were going shopping at Tesco.

Had an invite to try out the top of the range Discovery when it first came out.

Transmission had a number of options, road, mud, snow etc. we were let loose at Highcleer Castle, off road, in the woods. Few hills to go up and down, but the instructors had carved out the route, all we got was KEEP IN THE TRAM LINES, KEEP IN THE ----.

Cause all we wanted to do was find our own way down, or up, but they soon stopped you and oicked you out.

Our insrtructor said they go all over the world, he was on the one where they helicopted one in, and the one on top of the mountain.

Price started off OK, but put all the options on it was mega bucks.

Wicked pics man, my mate has similar landie, its a short wheel base with the back cut off, it sounds like a tractor! Lol

I believe he goes to a place called the Woodlands in Kent, held the first Sunday of every month, I should be going along next time he goes, it looks like a load of fun.....

Yeah that's me at the helm of the monster. It's currently my daily driver to save putting too many miles on the Impreza.

Hard to think it's 15 years old and only had 70k miles on the clock! It had an easy life until I bought it haha

When I was up Sutton Coldfield last weekend during the heavy rain and flooded roads I thought about the ZS in this, would have suffered for sure. The Discovery was excellent, ploughed through everything
