Zs/civic parts interchangeably?

Just wondering how much difference/similarity there isbetween the Zs and the civic? I know certain elements are different, namely the engine and underbonnet components but what about the rest?

Also what about other generations of civic? Namely the 5th, 7th and 8th gen civics? How much of these cars are interchangeable?

I mainly ask as there is a 52 plate civic, 7th gen I believe, for spares/repair on the island and was wondering if it was worth buying for parts or not. If there are very few parts in common if it wouldn't be worth it, but would see about grabbing hold of them if it gets broken/scrapped.

The previous civic (MB6?) and the 400 have a lot in common but the ZS is quite a bit different apart from some of the interior.

You can fit a few bits of suspension but not enough to warrant buying a whole car but I doubt there is anything on a 7th gen that will fit.

That's pretty much what I figured from reading around, but figured I could get a pretty definite answer on here.

As above bud, i doubt anything on the 52 plate will fit.
