I saw them in store the other day at £100 and thought it was good value.

is this the usual Halfords 12-point socket set? - rounds off the nut so there's no chance of breaking the socket!

The 6-point ones are the ones to buy, do Halfords do these still?

It's a mixture of 6 and 12 sadly

I bought the bigger set a few years back and have only broke one item so far. I've had this item replaced free of charge from halfords

these kits are terrific value, i think the 200 piece will be 125 on boxing day for anybody who missed it

yes they are the multi spline set but i haven't had many issue with rounding bolts to be fair.

Went down without reserving it and got the last on display with another £5 off as cardboard box had small rip,,
Had to go through the reservation online in store to get the deal though.
Looks a great quality kit.

Agree with the above - I've had a 3/8" Halfords pro set for a few years and I've never had any problems with rounding bolts. Good enough for my car DIY.
