Heading back up to Dastek next week

As some of you know my RR test came out at 214bhp They've said they'll do another RR for free, though if it comes out at 214bhp again I'll have to pay for it. Seems pretty fair.

My car has a green filter and cat back, so unless the stars are aligned the same as last time, it shouldn't be near 214bhp.

Sounds odd to me... and if what people say about RR's depending on the user i think i can see you having to pay.

Ironic thing was I took it to the RR because I felt it was down on power

Happy with the results today. Dyno measured bhp at 185 and torque (ft/lbs) at 144.5 so it is down on power (torque) low down. Whole reason for going there in the first place

Will stick the graph up later and hopefully some clever folk can have a stab at what might be causing it Torque curve is pretty linear.

i think thats possibly wrong again, if your making 185 bhp you must have the torque up there aswell. to get bhp you need the torque!

on my first rolling road about 2 months ago mine made 183.3 bhp and 185 ft/lb of torque.
on another set of rollers after a few tweeks car made 192.5bhp with 172 ft/lb. and thats with a nackered plenum.

no rolling road is 100% accurate but this gives you a guide that the torque should be up there if the bhp is.
