Addition to my Collection

Just got an addition to my collection of cars surprisingly another MGZS
that makes 4 MGZS' and a Rover 45 all in Platinum silver.

This car is an 02 really thats why its platinum silver, it had the facelift done wayback in 2006 after it had been stolen apparently.

Well it's certainly not perfect or totally to my liking but it soon will be, the brakes are definately not up to my standards and the bonnet will have to be changed a few little gremlins need ousting from there little areas in the car and a few things need changeing or adding, like the glovebox doesnt have padding, the Lexus style rearlights and chrome mirror caps will be changed.

Drives lovelly though tracking straight and true on the motorway with no wandering about, seems to ride better as well might be because its not as noisy as my other ZS.

Today it will be attention to the plugs,, air filter, throttlebody tyre pressures etc.

Oh one thing that unnerved me a bit was that it started to loose power on a prolonged left hand bend coming out of Stafford Services on the M6, fuel starvation it felt like, straightened up onto the M6 and it was OK.

And here is why the bonnet needs changeing...

Thanks Gary, yes looks like the Rover will have to relinquish it's bonnet and it's glovebox, oh and it's dash for the Trackday/sprint car - it wont be happy

Nice selection............The two next to each other, shows the front off nicely. I still prefer the MK1, especially the metal grille.......MK2 too plastic........

I still have the matching car to the one with yellow highlights, mine has blue highlights plus there is a stripped out car that is away with Vulcan Racing having a rollcage fitted - plus the "spares ship" Rover 45 in the garage.

To be honest I prefer the Mk1 myself, not over keen on the numberplate being in the bumper on the mk2, but I do like the smoother nose on the mk2, still now I have a choice of which to go out in today.....

My Car

The twin Christines car

The Trackday/Sprint Car - if it gets finished

and the poor old Rover
