Well better update this thread.

Since the last post the doors have been replaced, along with the arch spat which was well past repair.
Also its had all four discs and pads replaced and two new front tyres.

Cosmetically it does have a few little dints and scratches but hey its an 11 year old car.

Upgrades, its had metal kick plates and a flocked glovebox fitted along with some replacement shocks sporting xpower lowering springs which has closed a little of the arch gap and give a much nicer and tighter ride.

Up next will be polybushing both the front and rear ARB.

Looks miles better!

Does the 180 and 120 use the same ARB's or are they bigger on the 180? Dunno why I am asking, I guess I want to polybush all round too, but not even checked the parts yet....

Also do the lowering springs alone make a good difference, as that is a mod I am looking at in the future?

ZS MK2 - XPG 120+, Climate Control, Leather/Alcantara, standard so long as you ignore the backbox, and brilliant fun to drive!
Mondeo MK3 LX - Silver, family runabout, 1.8 16v, standard, does the job!

The 180 has its own big ARB.on the rear.......thats why I had to find a 2nd hand one to refurb before putting it on the Zed. Replaced all the bushes though, plus bolts and hangers......

The shocks were just the standard 180 ones, the springs were already on them and my shocks were on their last legs.

Well nothing much has happened with the 180 since the last update, apart from she is now decatted, got a duplex exhaust on the way. Electric rear Windows to fit - with door cards!

Biggest change of all tho is in 2 or 3 months she will have a twin! I'm on the look out for another zs in firefrost for my partner so she can finally ditch her crappy zr

And here is a recent pic from the halfway house meet last Sunday, yes the colour is stunning in the sun!

Remember Clive's Firefrost 180 when he came to buy my ignition blue diesel off me. It looked amazing and I hadn't realised until that point that there was a sort of goldy/sparkle to the paint.

Does look like it's in decent shape now - fair play.
