ZS is still serving me well had another k series engine in the back of it Saturday, an engine crane, two boxes of various tools, a full size jack, axle stands, oil, coolant and my friend in the passenger seat, best car ever! haha

thats unlucky mate,had that with my mk4 golf soon after i bought it,at least you can do the work yourself,so you know its done right aswell,hope you get it back on the road and working bud,fingers crossed for ya!

Apparently some of the newer scooby engines are reknowned for that fault. That would be just my luck too. Our rebuilders boss pulled the plug on the garage so he was out of work and our engine came back to us for 2nd time in bits. Thankfully, he just set up on his own and I took it all back to him last week for re building.

Yeah they are, i'm putting acl bearing and uprated pump ect, hasn't been cheap
