Agreed though ... Around schools in residential streets .... 20 is fast enough. That advert running currently where the guy sees the kid everywhere he looks is quite sobering.
yeah i got a caution n everything, it was traffic n they couldnt give me a fixed penalty on the spot, was very lucky, was a tense 6 weeks waiting for it coming through and thought i was getting a ban, was actually so happy to get the 3 points strange really, learned me lesson now anyways, if i saw the policeman now id stop n thank him tbh!

That might be pushing it abit!! But to be honest unless there traffic they dont tend to do much. I got stoped whiles racing my mate in our first cars (1l mini and 1l corsa), we was doing about 70 in a 40 and the police just told us to carm down and go our own ways. Im sure if they was traffic we would have got the nik.

yes a good loophole i know of is not to speed in the first place lol

since hitting 20, i really have stoped driving quick anywhere other than country lanes that i know. i cover 35k miles a year and my licence is my job! so i tend to doodle around now, the amount of times iv seen speed vans that i diddnt know was there but because i taking it easy im ok!

i know yours was a genuine mistake, which could happen to anybody

Only just got the 'Notice of Intended Prosecution' dated 01/02/2010, the date of offence was 09/12/2009. Bearing in mind it went to my work supervisor first and he gave them my name and address, but i think he had it a week or so before he told me about it! Do our constabulary friends think i could 'loop hole' out of it???
