I mailed the seller back, thanking her for the swift response but saying I was out, as my preferance was a Mk2 ..... she said belts was not an expensive job (so why did she not had it done?) and ex BF had had two mks 2's which were bedeviled with electrical faults - stay clear she advised !!!!!

Belts are pretty expensive, even if you do them yourself, and bedevilled with electrical problems wouldn't really fit the zs profile
