which is wrong i think it was Stamford that said us as enthusiasts should be willing to pay a good price for these cars not what the market dictates like i did for my 03 plate one last year. I wouldn't want another one now because they have become so cheap (apart from enthusiasts like us) chavs are buying them now and ruining them

I also think its wrong Alan. Trouble is, with the current 'economic crisis' people want everything for nothing.

Stuartamc is on a distinguished road
Well just to let everyone know, the car is now sold. It went to a really nice American guy who loved it so much he paid full price for it too

Main thing for me though was that he liked it so much, so felt it's going to a good home where it will be appreciated and looked after. He'd seen quite a few too so knew what he was doing and took it as a compliment that he went for this one.

He couldn't believe what depreciation's like over here. He said in America there's just no way you'd get that kind of car and in good condition for that kind of money. Personally felt it was prob worth about ?3k, but unfortunately it's only ever going to be worth what people are willing to pay and not for what it is.

Wish I could have had it myself now, oh well!
