They are lovely cars no doubt about that, I hope you enjoy it, they certainly are still good to look at.

zsserbia will become famous soon enough
Nice find, I'm not competent here since I own a derv, but wouldn't mind owning both 180 and ST220 if I could afford.

ZS being less massive is what I like about it, as well the looks of it. I was thinking about mondeo derv before, but I never regret for picking up ZS derv instead

I was tempted by one of the Mondeo ST's before getting this 180. And after driving various Mondeo's for about a year, I just didnt want another one.

Granted they have the power over the ZS, but they are also noticeably larger and heavier cars. And the brakes have to be good considering the sheer mass of the vehicle.

Theres not much in the performance though.
ST220 is kicking out 222bhp from its 3.0 V6, but the car weights 1500kg, giving it a 7.4ish 0-60.
The ZS 180 offers around 175bhp from the 2.5 V6 but weighs less than 1300kg, with a 0-60 of 7.4ish seconds.

It depends what you want from the car really really. The Mondeo is more spacious and comfortable inside. The ZS certainly handles better than the ST24 and ST200, but I've not driven a Mk3 Mondeo ST220 yet.
