When I first fitted my BMC it was touching the Radiator, knowing this was bad I trimmed the Silicone hose and moved it away from the rad, loads of space now.

I don't think there is much difference between the two cars TBH, however if there is then I can't see it being that much at all... in which case my BMC would still be fine in a MK2

could u plz tell me how to trim the silicon hose

Do I need a metal sleeve connector between the oe pipe and the silicon

hose. which one should I buy?

Will get a radiator this Friday, don't really wanna make another mistake. would be appreciated.

How it's mounted will determine the install, are you using the OE bendy induction pipe or a 90deg elbow from throttle body to cannistor? I bought a longer leg 90deg elbow and trimmed it back until I had the right amount of clearance.

honestly mate the space available is exactly the same mk1 and mk2. Your maybe thinking about your old mk1 which is the 1.8 4 pot k series which will have more room as it has a different engine.
