if its a Mk2 then the power steering will still be okay!!!

Check the alarm sounder
Check the Climate control, and make sure no faults are present, look up the PDF of fault codes somewhere on here.

Check panel fits, bodykit fit, coming away etc, no missing bits like rear spats etc. Most things already covered.

The engine bay will tell you alot, the condition and if this is still standard, if so lift the air filter out and check it.

Sammy will be as much use as a chocolate teapot with a 180 he will be in awe!
