Well got it passed, failed :-( n/s lower steering joint cover split and a cut in the rear offside tyre, advisory on n/s cv boot.

So had a new cover fitted, plus a new boot while it was stripped and a new Hankook Evo12.

Considering the state of the roads not bad I suppose.

Another 13 months fun!!!!!!!!!!

Mine passed today. NO probs at all, except, usual comment on " its too yellow"
Only downside is I now have one of the horrible nasty new pass bits of paper.

Another years ticket for the green ane yesterday, no advisories and nothing needed. Expected something for the knocking at the front but all good. Only problem was he couldnt do it's minor service as she is too low for the ramps lol.
I MUST put my HID's back in though, halogen bulbs - yuck. hehe

Good news Maxfly, unless the roads have all been sorted since I was up there, which I doubt, dont know how your suspension, CV boots, etc. hang on in there.

sh4ggyd00 is on a distinguished road
so the zs has just failed its mot, on a few points:

n/s track rod end,
o/s cv boot,
rear pads,
and an exhaust clip that fell off when he touched it

but worst of all is the fact that i now hve to drive the fiesta to work in the morning

Id be tempted to use this as an excuse to replace the CV's & lower balls on both sides, and change the pads while there. Not so sure about the track rod end but you'll save alot of money doing them jobs yourself!
