ok im looking for a saloon mrk1 mg zs 180 backbox, i know now that a 120 bb doesnt fit, im looking for either a ss, mild steel or a standard one??? please reply if you have one

wats the diffs between the 120 backbox why doesnt it fit

110 and 120/180 is different. its a different diametre of pipe. i got the end of flange cut off so the bolts could slot in place ( it was a U shape at each end).

the 120 and 180 are the same? im sure they are, maybe that the standard back box is different. the stainless steel one from janspeed is the same for the 120 and 180 anyway

yep 120 and 180 is the same. Only the 110 is different.

the flanges dont meet up. Hence the need for some adjustment.

Made a wee diagram up. not very good but it shows what i had to do.



It can be done to either the backbox or the bit it joins onto.

1st is original
2nd is where it needs to be cut
3rd is what it should be when finished and bols can join up
