So with the ECU completely dead I'll have to try and send it back Emerald tomorrow and see if they can fix it. A lovely £60 just to look at it, let alone repair costs.

If they can then I've gotta see if the rolling road I had it mapped at have stored the map, otherwise it's another mapping session to pay for too!

A right pain as I start a new job in two weeks and need a car to travel there....so....I present Jimmy (the) Nail, my £500 bargain run around. It's got some scratches but is actually in pretty good nick and drives lovely.

Deffo avoiding anything that vaguely looks like a puddle....also building a waterproof ecu box!

Fingers crossed on the fixing, £60 just to look at it and then whatever it'll be to repair. If it needs a new one the cars getting SORN'd for a fair while, lol!
