im thinking of changing mine to the wooden ones in the 400/45
how much work is involved in it, especially the bit around the heater controls

Easy enough to do, at least on the mk2. Just have to undo some screws and take out the center console, then remove the bit you want to spray or replace from the rest of the center console (one piece is screwed into the back of the other). As I say though thats the mk2, havent had a good look at a mk1 center console.

Piece of ****, did exactly that in my 03 120+. Anyone want the crappie carbon fibre look alike ones? Free to a good home, just cover the p&p!
