Thanks,I think we can now say its a 115

I have to say numpty alert,I thought vented discs have holes in them or little slashes?

But i think im getting things wrong looking at the disc its like there is another disc behind it,Is this a vented disc?

If so the person who said its not got vented discs cant know to much about cars lol

Yep vented discs are like 2 sandwiched to gether with the vents inbetween

Holes on the face are drilled

i may be wrong but i think all mk2 ZS diesels are 115's. in fact i think all mk2 45 diesels were 115's too.....my 45 club se was a 115.

maybe the previous owner put the wrong discs on??

I see i was thinking because there was no holes then that means its not vented.

There is two versions one with 101ps and the other is 113ps,Same with the 45 models.

Im the second owner and i know all the history from when it came out of the showroom to me having it,Discs have never been changed brakes has only been changed this year from when it was new in 06.

There were defiantly two variants of the diesel, even in mk2 guise..

And you can't 'just put the wrong discs on' as the calipers/carriers are different

the rough and ready rule of thumb was vented front and rear disks was put on 115's from the factory. so solid fronts and drums usually meant a 101. As mentioned on .org tho this is not always accurate.
However if it came out the factory as a 115 it 'should' have a 83KW sticker on the passenger B pillar.

Quite often the dealers just upgraded the map with T5, to charge a bit extra either at sale or as a 'sweetener'

It was my understanding that for the MKII's they only produced them with the 115 map in place, as they are in the same insurance group it makes little difference i suppose really.

Yes im sorry i was being a bit of a numpty it is a 115 as it does have vented at the front and solids at the back.
