Best way to clean oil from Street

Axle stand through the sump while changing the cylinder head Stupid mistake. Always remove the oil first

Now my drive cleans without issue , i used baking flour the soak up the the oil and then started scrapping it off. But the issue i have is after got all the wet stuff dry and scooped it and bin'd it , i then jet washed my drive way. Its tiled so comes of easy but then it all flows down the road and misses the drain

Outside of drive looks a mess .... whats the best way to clean it before the neighbors start to give me evil looks?

Dry sand to mop most up, collect and get rid.

Then buy some oil soaking up stuff.

They sprinkle cement on spillages at race tracks (I find brushing it in a bit helps). It lifts it out of the tarmac and then soon washes away.

They say white wine will clean red wine off a carpet, with that logic try Brake fluid

As said sand or cement dust to try and soak the worst off, then a heavy duty degreaser, also coke is a pretty good cleaner used to use that when working in a pub to clean blood off the pavement

I've always used cement dust, brush in well. However I haven't dropped that amount of oil before! Good luck!

Cat litter too is good for initial grab. Try washing up liquid for the remnants.

I've used cat litter for small spills - i.e. the puddle left by GV51

At work we use cement powder - 25kg will cost about £4 from a builders merchant (like the one I work in)

If it is a thin film you could use detergent, couple of cheap bottles from your local cheap supermarket/pound shop.

Legally of course you must ensure not a drop reaches the drains!
