Aparrently i drive an Evo

Stopped at the lights last night and a couple of wee guys in a saxo VTR pulled up beside me and said nice Evo big chap, bet thats fast as f**k.

I had to laugh, not the first time the Zed has been mistaken for an Evo. Cans see the resemblance myself

My Blue ZS MK1 used to be mistaken for an Evo all the time L: ) (Blue saloon with huge spoiler lol)

My Black MK2 ZS seems to be mistaken for a Monaro now... I can't see how personally, but I'm not complaining

Was the other driver in question trying to take the ****? I use the word trying in the looses sense as he was driving a saxo.

He was deffinately looking for a race. He tore away from the lights like a bat out of hell. Fortunately my days of racing we neds in Saxo's are well behind me.

Besides i dont know if my 180 would keep up with a VTR through the town. On the motorway no bother but from a standing start im not so sure ?

The Saxo VTR is a 1.6 8 valve with 90bhp I would hope you could!#

But keep in mind they weigh next to nothing. Up to about 50 -60 from a standing start they do go like stink. My 180 is fast once its going but until you get into 3rd gear i dont think its that great !!

Just looked on Parkers and they are 2 seconds to 60 slower at best and 2.8 at worst even a VTS is slower than the 180!

I wouldn't be happy with a Saxo beating me off the lights if I was trying against something like that! I tend to keep creeping forward as if I'm gonna fly off just to let them go on their own! :-)
