I must admit I was suprised to see mention of the MK2 Astra when the MG maestro had a digi dash before the Astra, it was the same as the Austin Maestro Vanden Plas pictured above.

In theory it should be quite simple to instal but having adapted one to fit a mini and then a metro I would advise against it as gets involved with all the warning lights and to get the speedo to work you need to change the gearbox speedo sender, this also needed to make the trip computer work. You also need to instal a sensor in the fuel line.

The stack system would be easier on a car with ABS such as the ZS.

Maestro to mini and metro was too, maestro to ZS is more complex as you have many feeds from ECUs etc.
