They're a bit of a looker that's for sure, I didn't know they were worth that much though.

They are a bit pricey but can't see it going anywhere but up.

There's a Mercedes 300 SLR in the Merc museum in Stuttgart which is absolutely stunning, if you ever get the chance I would highly recommend a visit to the museum.

A guy not too far from us must have his own collection. Gullwing and sl190 or two at South Wales Classic Car Show 2012. Too wet for him last year though. Can't blame him.
