nah mate there is def cheaper cars out there these days. Its not a bad price for a 05 plate V6 4 door saloon, just not a MG one where prices are rock bottom

Way too high IMO. I got mine (June 04) with a lot less miles than that over a yea ago and paid about 2/3 of that.

well after a little negotiation, i have got it down to £7k with the following

1 years mot & tax
2 years warrenty fully comprehensive so every part of the car is covered
a major service done prior to collection
full valet prior to collection
any parts that fail on the next mot will be replaced free of charge
years breakdown cover with the AA including home relay

I got my 54 ZS 120 from SMC 2 1/2 years ago with 7500 miles for £9995 and paid £500 extra for their 'comprehensive' warranty for 3 years. The warranty is rubbish, the car smelt of petrol as the fuel filter was leaking which was not covered (classed as a consumable). The laquer is coming off the wheels, not covered despite saying, 'wheels' on the list of things covered. I had to fight to get a new wiring loom (to avaid paying myself as they could fix the part) when a wire was getting trapped and blowing fuses and feel they only changed it as I had just spent £300 on a service (they also charged me £13 to readjust a headlight and £20 to check the front fogs which they couldn't fix and wanted the car back when their diagnostic thing was working).
They would only cover things they couldn't fix and need to replace a part, my advice is stay away from SMC I have found them rude and unhelpful and too expensive.

WAY overpriced...I paid £5030 for mine, 05 54 plate with 19000 on the clock!

There are loads around this price at the moment and you can go and buy your own independant warranty, full valet, mot, 6 months tax etc for a whole lot less than 7000!!

They may be a garage but they are only after your money making you pay extra for 'peace of mind' when you know that they won't be interested in you or your car from the second you've handed over the cash and pulled off the forecourt....
