Just having a punt round as you do on ebay for 180's and at least 5 have sod all coolant in the pic taken of the engine bay, has it come to this that the 180 or ZS have become a 'use once and discard' car..........

IMO for the cost of some repairs you could buy another 180, I was offered a BRG one which had new tyres, belts just done and 80k on the clock for £550 but had other things to pay out for at the time. I think I'll just run the yellow until it goes pop and then buy another. Obviously I wouldn't let it fall into disrepair but if anything needed fixing that cost more than a couple of hundred quid then i'd break it and buy another.

Going by that, i should have scrapped mine years ago. I had to pay for a cambelt change, when the tensoner broke. New rear box, 4new tyres new discs alloy wheels refurbed. All these things cost more than £200 each time. I didnt scrap mine, I LOVE him. All cars cost money, why do we keep just scrapping them......................................Show a little love and repair the car.

They ain't ever going to have the following as say fords but old escorts used to go for penny's, few 100quid now they are for mega as they are rare. Maybe you would see a Zs 180 going for £3000+ once they come rare and only a best have survived.
