hehe, helpfully, it doesnt say.

I guess it *can* be used for towing, but they're covering their backs (and MG Rovers, not that it matters now) by saying that it cant as its not specifically designed for it, or doesnt reach some EU standard or something.

Just saying what it says in the Haynes.

mmmm interesting.. wonder how hard it would be to weld one on, used to have a nice red one on my rst once but it was fitted before I had it.

Ive got the handbook infront of me and it says in it:

One of the mounting points for my towbar IS the rear lasing point, another one being provided on the towbar!
