Had a good start to the day, car wouldn't start.....then fan came on, and doors wouldn't unlock! Called AA as I have warranty cover......battery was totally knackered, was 14 yrs old though lol.

So £35 (excess) later, new premium Yusa battery fitted, and ready to go.

cant complain at the old battery, new ones seem only good for 4 years.

Went to a Ford meet rolling road day in the ZS as the Escort needs new drive shaft seals......thought I'd stick the ZS on. Good standard power, so very happy.

Nice result and just shows all working correctly too.

Can't think of many Fords on the go in 2002 that would have had that power apart from the ST220.

No, and the ZS was just as quick.....think it had a quicker 0-60 time.....There was the Focus St170 too.
