160

does anyone know if you can fit a zr 160 engine in a mk 1 zs 120+

The engine will fit physically, however you would need the ECU from the ZR to control the VVC mechanism.

I'm assuming with the extra weight of the zs it would run less than 160 so would it still be worth it?

Well its gonna be more than 120 isnt it.......

It was something I was thinking too, why there was never a 160 version of the ZS....always thorght it was a big jump in power.

if they had made a 160 the power of the 180 would have had to be upped thant proberly why

if you look on the net you will find that the zs isnt a lot heavier than the zr atall. it is only the tinyist bit. i always would have thought the zs is a lot heavier but the difference isnt that noticeable

Thats quite interesting. I thorght the same really that the ZS would be quite a bit heavyer than the ZR.

But still if they did do a ZS 160 then upping the power of the KV6 in the range isnt a bad thing

A 160 would of sat nicely in the range. Then they could of used the ZT 190 engine as the range topper.
