What about buying a cheap standard car, then maybe doing some tuning to that instead? At least you'd know it's not been pushed beyond it's limits and exactly what's been done to it and by who. Just a thought as the MG ZSs seem so cheap to me to buy now for what they are.

My god if I was younger in this day and age... it seems so easy to pick up a good cheap reliable car now. I had choices of 205s and R5 turbos, awesome fun, but hell of a minefield. Could go on long journey's but you weren't always sure if you were going to make it back!

Previous posts in the past indicate that he does know the history and of the charger itself, it hasn't had the modifications to make the charger run reliably

I used to be tempted with the idea of buying something someone else has paid to turbo or supercharge, seemed a great idea. Then heard about how many problems you can have if it's not set up properly with mapping and then it's not fuelled right and pop. Happened to a friend of mine and what was thought to be a bargain buy, became a total money pit nightmare.

If it was someone who was a bit of an anorak and knew every last detail, had proof of lots spent, and being properly tuned on rolling road, then fair dos.

Definitely not someone shouting about how his 250bhp car can outrun Porsches... Think it's called they weren't actually racing you mate, then just thought you were a bit of a *** and left you to it...

Do yo think he would take a offer lol.. it has been up for sale twice!
what sort of fixes where needed to stop the charger from mullering the engine then? Was it a factory fitted idea or aftermarket?

Best ones to comment would be George and Ross as they know just about everything on these conversions. All I know is what has been posted on various forums over a number of years.
