Parting with the ZS

Well I've finally pulled the trigger on parting with the ZS
As much as I've moaned about it recently it has been a joy to drive & still a great looking car
with around 6 years ownership it is by far the longest I've held on to any car
Will still pop in here now and then to see how you are getting on and will most likely regret giving up my own ZS looking at other ones
Don't part with it till Friday so until then I'm gonna make the most of it
Big thanks to all here who have helped me along the way.

Was actually on Sunday mate, hunting for a Fiesta Zetec ecoboost for Tracey & as she was busy looking at all the nice newish cars I wondered over to the old trade in section.
Hyundai Coupe caught my eye, truth be told I don't have much money to put towards a car for myself as Traceys Fiesta wont be cheap
Spoke to dealer & struck a deal, only 42k with lots of toys
Not everyones cup of tea but & like I Said to you it isn't anywhere close to the ZS on handling or performance
Few mods will make it more a warm hatch.
No pics of actuall car but this is identical

Shame indeed but we all move on at some point, stay around though. Sam (ZS) can point you towards a suitable forum

Like the shape of those ones mate - should prove a decent reliable motor. What engine?

You get a Fezza? That's what I'm in now - Fiesta ecoboost. Great little car. Can't recommend it highly enough.

As said though - stick around.

Dan the Mrs has been after a Fezzie for a while now, I wasn't too keen on them at 1st but after taking a test drive in the 1litre ecoboost I was really surprised by it
Still think it's way too much money though but buying used 2-3yrs at 15-20k miles
Really like the Zetec S trim but her indoors ain't too keen.
Going looking for her again next Wkend.
It's the 2litre on the Coupe I got, around 140bhp & hopefully a few mods should help it along.

Great little car mate - surprised me too. My first one was a Zetec S. Not sure what your budget is, but if you look at Motorpoint they have loads.

Mine's a 3dr 100bhp Zetec, but quite a late build 2015 pre-registered car so comes with DAB and running lights. £10K. Not a lot in it performance-wise at all - if anything compared to my Zetec S which was 125bhp. Ford direct are chucking another £350 in on a finance deal if you buy one from them. Mine's on a PCP finance deal so low payments every month. They've got loads too, so make some calls. If you can, try to get one that has the DAB upgrade. Was only a £100 option when new but makes a big difference IMHO. Titanium's quite a nice spec.
