Unhappy

Surely his best bet would be to go on his mums insurance as a named driver!

that may be the only viable option apart from selling on again, insurance is expensive these days, i guess your age & it being a V6 really wont help matters.

I'm 23 and have about 5 years no claims i think. I live in a bad postcode despite my area being virtually crime free. I got my 180 in august (I think) and paid an extra 400 pounds to swap over to the 180 which will see me to January, when its up for renewal.

I'm expecting the worst, probably over the 1000 pounds mark.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, im with adrian flux who insured me with 'NIG' who specialise in modified cars.

Oh dear, i pay ?1000 for my insurance, thats me as the main driver / owner, my missis and the mother in law as named drivers, Try putting your mum or dad on the insurance and you may be suprised as the mother in law knocked it right down for me, and me + the missis share 9 points and im only 24

Haha the car is up their but only if i get offered the right money!! Yes im a **** and should of done my homework!!!

May as well make a bit on it if i can. The insurance drops a considerable amount the second i hit 20, so ive declared the car SORN and am looking for a cheap runabout till renewal time.

This gives me the advantage of being able to sort all the niggles and get it sweet for its first time out!!

Try Chris Knott Insurance. They are the cheapest by a mile for me. This year nobody could get me below ?500, phoned CK and its down to ?190.
