Yea we've got car ramps but they're too steep and catch on the bumper.

Luckily my grandad popped round, and because he used to be a welder hes got a set of ramps he made himself 40 years ago! They heavy as hell but better than the sets you can buy these days! More importantly though the gradient is less steep so it doesnt catch on the bumper as i go up/down.

Still would like to know where to put the axel stands safely though, ill have another look under tomorrow to see where stamford means, failing that, i guess i could always jack the car up front the front jacking point and put the stands on the jacking points by the front sills.
