Went to our local xpart dealer today,not a standard part on either zs or zt,tried unipart and ats with no luck so have ordered the vw part and will modify when it arrives,got plenty cable ties in the meantime.....thanks for the help Kev

I have used an Escort rear hanger, not as strong but with a cable tie wrapped around it, it was much better.

Thanks for the offers guys, I hope the Passat bit will do the job, I will need to drill a couple of holes and bolt it on but will be far more secure than the original fitting.
