new headlights

my headlight units on the mk2 are a bit fogged, looks like the plastic has faded, so i got new headlight units but cant get the old ones off, is there a hidden bolt somewhere? loosened the two under the bonnet but they wont pop out, thought it'd be easy after the halfords advert where the mondeo's falls out

Need the bumper off, so 4 clips off under the bonnet, pop the wheel arch liner back and thereas 1 10mm bolt each side and iirc 4 underneath

there's two bolts on each unit behind the bumper... as does the Mondeo in the Halfrauds advert

The Mk3 Mondeo only has a slide pin, brilliant idea.

Didn't know thay had changed it. my dad had the roundy roundy version before the one in the advert and it was a total nightmare to get the headlight out... near enough the whole front of the car had to come off!
