Changed the pump, got one out of the R45 and put it on mine. Had to cut the old bolts off that held the tank up but had new ones from Rimmer Bros.
Only difference between the two pumps was that the one I put in has the floater the opposite way round but it seems to be okay though. Car is up and running again and that's the main thing. Thanks a lot for the advice Pete.
