MOT Question

It seems to be a rumour that if a vehicle is fitted then it has to work This is not true. Like Stamford has asked front fogs don't need to work and definately don't need to be fitted as a pair. Just like high level brake lamps alot of people seem to think that if fitted they need to work this is not true even though it maybe there i can only fail it if it is wired up and doesn't work But i'm also not allowed to strip anything so its hard to tell if it wired up so what i like to do in cases like this is pass and advise it.

Thanks for the replies peeps. Will be applying some black tank tape to the other light to balance them up as the CAF intake is black gauze.

Iv only got one due to my CAF Mick. Nothing was mentioned at all. Mine passed fine last week

Thousands upon thousands must play the game each year.All the mods come off to get the ticket then back on once the objective has been achieved.The tester last year was good enough to tape up some(eu dipping to the wrong side) smoked headlights on the lads car to get us a pass.

Surely it would be better to fit things properly than hope you get away with it?
