Wifes company car (6mth old Focus) was hit by a van recently, passerby left note on screen. When insurance looked into it the reg turned out to be a Renault car of some sort.

Bit worrying how common this cloning could be, we may as well all say sod it and not bother with insurance, tax etc

There are some very evil punishments mentioned in this thread regarding the treatment of scums and I like it . If you dare to drive around with no insurance and tax then admit it rather than being a coward hiding behind a steering wheel. Capital punishment comes to mind for these cowards or just send them to a war zone, killed by friendly fire no big loss.

Hope you get the car sorted soon. It is just unnecessary extra hassle.
