Rover 400 parts....

Ive got hold of a 1997 Rover 400. Any parts on it to make the ZS interior a bit more quieter?
Will the dash and doors be stuffed with sound proofing as it is very quiet on the move.
If so, I will start stripping it tomorrow.

the answer to your question is no as i have got a rover 400 which i am currently breaking for spares and i have not found any sound proofing in the doors or behind the dash as these have been removed from the car

Some of them had sound deadening under the dash above your feet. I tried fitting it to mine but some of the mounting holes are different, it catches your feet when you come off the clutch if you have big feet and I didn't actually notice any difference.

You probably find the 400 quieter because the wheels are not as big as the ZS, that's what makes most of the road noise. Tyres make a big difference too
