You can do a VVC head swap but this has a kit to bypass the VVC mechanism which is not used.

Certainly doesn't look like a VVC. I believe that MGR did make one VVC ZS, but it may have been taken apart. It probably would never have been released, as it is too close in power/performance to the KV6.

There is 1 starlight silver 04 hatch 160 VVC ZS about which was built by an MGR employee, was featured in the MGOC mag. This was what I was going to do to my ZS when I bought it as I had already done a mems3 VVC conversion to my previous 400 bub' but as I met him and found out that he had just converted his ZS to 160 spec I'd thought I'd go a different route with the K-Turbo

Pretty simple to VVC your ZS if you wanted to as you can keep your current bottom end for the quick way
