Bought it from new in 2005.
You mean the under bonnet interrior? It's on the cheap (Project Drive). Most MKII's have only few layers of paint under the bonnet and no transparent finish, guess that's why it looks like TB.
@ Murray,
No extreme spoiler for me mate

I did hear of a few late cars being resprayed to suit a customer order only to find a slightly differing colour underneath, base colours used etc. It is a shame they implemented Project Drive, it's as if they knew it was going to fold, hence a useless warranty with regards corrosion etc.

True,
That's why I'm probabely gonna give her an anti-corrosion treatment in due time.
Project Drive really left out some strange things to save money
Had to put on the door sills myself and recently applied some black felt on the inside of the glove compartment.
@ Sarah,
Not imho ;-)
I like her just the way she is now. An extreme spoiler would draw too much attention.

Very nice example that, though i think it would look a bit better with the extreme spoiler loving the wheels though.

Nice example there Pete, I looked at one the same colour when I was looking around but it sold before I could make my mind up on it and yours is the only other one I've seen in that colour! Nice neat boot install and prefer the new wheels!

Thanks guys
Love the color too. Was looking for a black one first but then I seen this one and fell immediately in love with her
It's not that the boost valve doesn't do anything.
It increases power a bit, but not much.
It's one of those mods that on itself doesn't do much but it complements to other mods like an induction kit, bigger throttle body etc.
