basically as long as the box goes back in itll move to the right place as soon as you use the clutch, you can see through the centre make sure it lines up and rounbt the edges make sure its lined up at the edges, but yes as you say if you have to tool why not

just a bit worried because of all the agro I had just from doing the brakes etc, and this is gonna be more full on ie sub-frame etc so more bolts to give me trouble... not bad though got 66k out of it but its on its way.

dont think you need the subframe off, the zt is a full subframe where zs has just a rear one

Sweet, I manned up and got the two lower bolts off and dropped the box to the side now. Gonna finish it off tomorrow as literally only spent 45 mins doing it. Looking to be about a 4 hour job overall, not bad for my first clutch change ever at the tender age of 20 lolol
