Typical 1980's hatch with scalops!
Much bigger interior than most cars of it's time.

Digi dash, often copied, never beaten!

Mmmmmmmm, 86bhp diesel, never gonna set the world alight but will cruise at 90 and still return 45mpg!

EFi's and 2.0i's are quick. Turbo's quicker!
Stick in a T16 and sub 7 second 0-60 are possible, boring?

0-90 My T16 maestro running no intercooler so about 170 bhp (filmed on a phone).

They out handle Golfs, I know as I worked as a driver for the local VW dealer for 3 years which is why I offer you -

The 1995 VW Passat estate - one of the most bland cars of modern history.
