Right this is what I have

There is no loose wires hanging around......but I did find the plug for the rain sensor so that maybe an upgrade soon!

Took it all apart and made sure the cable went north so the back stud on the base mount went into the little cut out on the mag thing

Drove into town and as usual not a back reception but not as good as it was.....drove home and its better as I had a signal of varying quality for 50% of the time.

So not quite there yet :-(
