Starter Motor

Any one got a compatible starter motor for my derv ?

well firstly sheck your getting a feed from the smaller of the two cables when you crank it, if you havent got a feed there then nothing will happen, if its clicking then you probably have a feed to it, as its flinging the solenoid out, if its clicking not spinning check you are getting a constant live at the thicker of the two cables, if all the boxes above are ticked and all earth connections are clean then suspect the starter, sometimes worth taking the contacts off and cleaning, refitting see if it works incase you have a dodgy connection

Ahhaaaa! whipped off the top spade, wiggled it ... pit it back on ... and boom, Monty fires up first turn! will do a proper job on the cables this week, but good to know its not as major as i thought! :P
