Best place to get black vinyl wrap?

Will probably be wanting 1m x 0.5m (max) to cover the bib on my MK2 ZS. Can't really find anywhere that sells it in small quantities.

Anyone know of any retailers.

Cheers.

no problem dude! sometimes you have to be very specific with ebay :|

i have been toying with the idea of getting my hands on some orange vinyl to do a BRM exterior colour scheme kind of like my sig... but not really sure how i would fit the orange around the front grill

From what I have seen you will need a hot air gun to make the vinyl plyable (sp) in order to stretch it about etc.

will have to see!

its all arrived today, and im only applying them to the inserts, so i imagine it will act like exterior bodywork.

if not i will ruff up the plastic with some fine sand paper.

i have got a heat gun, so if your right then all is good

eitherway, this will be far easyer then attempting to paint it all! my painting skills are terrible!

I got some black vinal of ebay to do a couple of stipes on the gfs car, It just takes alittle time and is easy to do. I started applying it whilst holding the other end up then used a blockbuster card (other rarely used credit type cards would also work) to help work the vinal down, making sure prevent air bubbles, a cloth may come in handy as the card can scratch the vinal if not careful.

Id be tempted to start in the middle and work one way leaving the backing on the other half. The work it up to the corner as close as possible then use a stanley blade to trim to size. Id also prob work along the top then pull it round to do the bottom.

It may be worthwhile getting 0.5m too much so that you can have a bit of a pratice. As can easily pull if off

Any big air bubbles peirce with the stanley blade to help squeeze out air.

Just takes a little time
