My quiet ZS180...

Well, my ZS180 went for its MOT today and flew through. Prior to going for the MOT I had to change the cat and intermediate pipe, as it probably would not have passed the emissions test otherwise.

My car is now significantly quieter, and no longer pops (well I can't hear it inside the car) on overrun. The car feels a little bit slower, but its difficult to be certain - needs a quantitative test really to be certain. Might just be that it sounds faster with the other exhaust set up!

So, what was the previous set-up and what do you have now?

Would be interesting to see what 'real' differences there are.

My previous set up was Janspeed manifolds, empty cat (not ZS?), intermediate pipe (not ZS?) and XPower inwardly rolled back box. The 'cat' and intermediate pipes are different lengths from the standard ones.

I now have a standard ZS cat and intermediate pipe on the car.

Not sure whether I should revert back to my previous set up or get a sports cat. I did order in a sports cat some time ago, but was unable to fit it due to it being a different length than the 'cat' that was on the car.
