The King is Dead Long live the King

Today marks the end of an era (all be it a short one).
My corrado is going to its new owner..... I have only had it for 3 months but feels alot longer. In that time, we have moved to autumn, my daughter was born, lots of changes at home so its almost been a faithfull friend.
However............The MG is now insured and on the road. All chuffed thinking I can take it out tonight and play. First thing the wife says..... 'I can take it up to my mum's later'. Dammit.
Better be there when I get home. I have an appointment with the moors tonight.

I love Corrados - it was always on my list of 'must own', but sadly i never got around to it. I love the VR6 and in particular the run-out edition Storm. Everything about it from it's blunt nose and high rear, the electric spoiler and Karman interior was perfect. It handled and drove fantasticly too. I still want one !

Yeah don't get me wrong a good car but prefer the scirocco to drive.
I was parked at the shop in the rado today and a VR6 Storm pulled in nxt to me, much smiling and waving.
Mine was only a early 1.8 16V but had the following.
Port and polished head
4 branch manifold
Milltek exhaust
Bilstein shocks and springs
Not bad for a freebie motor.
