what is tuning box? big gain without other mods?

what is tuning box?

someone told me can give lots of bhp without other mods?

Lies, nothing on the Kv6 gives big gains. More like small gains for losts of notes

Mate - if you're posting and asking questions, it might help if you specified the car it was for. Everyone's assumed that you're asking for something about your V6 - not someone else's diesel.

If it's for a TD car, then yes, you can get tuning boxes for them, there's info all over the internet.

I've got one on the derv, Rover ron's, all it does is compensates if the MAF sensor is on the way out.

Rather than buy a MAF sensor that was expensive, you plug the box in and it fools the ecu to think its all OK.

Think he has stopped selling them now as the MAF sensor is a lot cheaper so not worth doing.

It never added hp, only made the engine perform to its peak condition.

Anyway thats what I think its all about.
