Know how you feel, just found a small bash in the front spoiler, could have been a stone, and also a 2" mark/cut just under the o/s headlight.
Just a niggle compared to your damage, so I'd be gutted.
Least you were there and got the silly whatsit, would have been worse if you just walked back and found it. Doesnt make it any better, hope its soon back to its shiny condition.
We used to do grounds maintenance for IBM North Harbour, Portsmouth, great big car parks. One guy had a brand new Jag, parked it near our compound, about as far away from the rest of the cars as you could get.
Trouble is there is a Public Right of way through the grounds, group of kids thought it would be fun to throw rocks at his pride and joy!!!!
Every panel, every window, car was written off, as always, even though HItec IBM, CCTV didnt cover that part of the car park!!!!!!
I'm sure it will soon be sorted and back as good as new, just a hassle you can do without, best of luck with the repairs.

That's the trouble .... Some things happen that are simply out of our hands.
Stone smashed my windscreen yesterday ....
