Trailer favour

Anyone on here with a trailer do me a favour, I need a 180 with a blown engine transported from banbury in oxfordshire to potters bar in herts bout an hour and 10 mins journey time??? Will pay obviously.

If you're with the AA they do first 50 miles for free, then £2.50 a mile or something.

If you're not, friendly trailer person obv best bet.

You buying the car?

Depends what policy type you have, but if the membership is for you rather than your car, then I reckon they'd recover it for you for free for 50 miles plus the extra mileage. Worth a phone call.

Yeah I can use the cover for any car as long as I am there and have the card on me. I think I get like 4 or 5 call outs a year but i've been with the AA since I started driving in 2001 and have only used them once so would be worth using them for this get my monies worth!

Just looked at my membership and I have relay which means I can get recovered to anywhere in the uk for free.

The car needs to be taxed before they will work on it, let alone tow it.

And if it has already been worked on they wont touch it.

Yeah car is taxed and mot'd but just found out that he got recovered by the AA so thats out the window.

Just spoke to my mate who knows someone with a car transporter so hopefully that'll come through otherwise best quote I have is £130 to get the car picked up and delivered.
