WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This supermarket price war is getting pretty good. My Zed needs filling up this weekend, and my local Tesco is selling unleaded at £1.29 at the moment, plus my mum put through an online order and got me a 10p off voucher................So gonna fill the tank on sat at a cost of £1.19per litre..................................: thumbsup:
Get in there cant fault you . What i cant understand is is it only supermarkets that have to start price drops when main fuel suppliers supply them answers please

im a tesco driver so i often find a stack of 10p/5p off a litre coupons in my car only thing is they have changed the offer now so you can only use 1 coupon at a time, you used to be able to use 5 in one transaction still better than nothing though
Still way too expensive... When I first learned to drive it was 73.9p per liter iirc, get it back under a bloody pound per liter and I would be impressed LOL.

in 1974 my Jaguar 3.8 E-type cost me just under £400 and car insurance was around £75 for it........ beer was 2 shillings and 11 pennys a pint that 15p in new money and I was earning £1 an hour.
All this is pretty irrelavent....except for one important point ...... Britain was a far happier place to live back then.

I'm a Tesco 99 and the Tesco where I work and fill up is still 1.33 on unleaded. There is a Sainsbury's just up the road from the Tesco and that is 1.32 so neither of them are making a move. But a Sainsbury's near where I live is 1.29.
